Job Title: Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) Engineer – Rail Metro Projects

This role requires to ensure that all engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning activities are executed in compliance with project specifications, quality standards, contractual requirements, and applicable rail industry standards, ensuring successful and defect-free project delivery.

What will you do?

Quality Assurance

• Implement and maintain the Project Quality Management System (QMS).
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality procedures, client requirements, and international standards.
• Prepare and manage Quality Plans, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and quality procedures.

Quality Control

• Conduct inspections and audits of engineering, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Monitor workmanship, materials, and construction activities to ensure compliance with approved specifications.
• Verify closure of non-conformities and corrective actions.

Documentation & Compliance

• Review and maintain quality records, material approvals, inspection reports, test reports, and handover documentation.
• Ensure traceability and completeness of project quality documentation.
• Support internal, client, and third-party quality audits.

Supplier & Contractor Quality Management

• Monitor supplier and subcontractor compliance with project quality requirements.
• Support factory acceptance tests (FAT), site acceptance tests (SAT), and vendor inspections.
• Evaluate quality performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Testing & Commissioning Support

• Coordinate quality inspections during testing and commissioning activities.
• Ensure all systems meet acceptance criteria before handover.
• Support punch-list management and project closeout activities.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

• Track quality KPIs and prepare quality performance reports.
• Identify quality risks and implement preventive actions.
• Promote a culture of quality excellence and continuous improvement.

Experience, Education and other Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or equivalent discipline
• Overall 10-15 years of QA/QC experience in Electrical infrastructure Projects and 7-8 years of experience in  Metro Rail, Railway Electrification Projects.
• Experience in construction, testing, commissioning, and quality management systems.
• Technical Knowledge: ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems, Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), Non-Conformance Management (NCR), FAT/SAT Procedures, Testing & Commissioning Processes, Rail and Infrastructure Quality Standards.
• Preferred Industry Experience: Metro Rail, Railway Electrification, OCS, Traction Power, Transportation Infrastructure, and EPC Projects.
