Mission of the Role
Ensure the quality, stability, and reliability of Moloco’s services by conducting rigorous manual testing and building AI Agent-driven automated testing frameworks. The QA Engineer will balance hands-on exploratory testing with modern AI technologies to write test cases, analyze failures, and optimize testing pipelines. By working closely with Software Engineers, you will improve product quality, development efficiency, and release confidence.
What You will Do
- Conduct thorough manual testing for new features, complex edge cases, and user-centric scenarios to ensure high product quality before release.
- Design, build, and scale an AI Agent-assisted test automation framework to transition repetitive manual tests into automated integration and end-to-end tests.
- Utilize AI Agents for automated test generation, script maintenance (auto-healing), and enhancing exploratory testing.
- Analyze bugs and errors found during both manual and automated testing, and communicate actionable findings (repro steps, root-cause insights) to Software Engineers.
- Choose the appropriate testing strategy for each service or feature, balancing manual testing, automation, regression coverage, and release risk.
- Integrate AI-driven QA tooling into CI/CD pipelines to identify quality risks early in the development lifecycle.
- Improve development efficiency and performance by identifying quality risks early and integrating QA into the development process.
- Work closely with Software Engineers to enhance and improve programs, testability, and release quality.
- Maintain clear test documentation, defect records, and guidelines to ensure seamless QA operations.
How Do I Know if the Role is Right For Me?
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with software-testing coursework or at least one year of software-testing experience.
- Basic understanding of Agile/DevOps software development practices and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD).
- Strong attention to detail with a proven ability to identify edge cases, negative scenarios, boundary conditions, and gaps in requirements through manual testing.
- Familiarity with API testing, backend service verification, frontend testing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Korean.
Preferred Skills
- Experience or strong interest in leveraging AI tools/LLM Agents for QA processes (e.g., automated test script generation, auto-healing, log analysis).
- Familiarity with Jira or comparable test-management and issue-tracking tools.
- Familiarity with security/penetration testing concepts.
