Position Details:

We are seeking a friendly and compassionate Pulmonology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team. As a Pulmonology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients with respiratory conditions, including asthma, COPD, pneumonia, and other pulmonary disorders. Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough physical assessments and medical screenings of patients with pulmonary conditions.
• Diagnose and treat common respiratory illnesses, including asthma, bronchitis, and pneumonia.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, considering their medical history, current symptoms, and lifestyle factors.
• Prescribe medications and therapies, such as inhalers, antibiotics, and pulmonary rehabilitation programs.
• Educate patients and their families on the importance of proper disease management, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications.
• Perform diagnostic procedures, such as spirometry, chest X-rays, and arterial blood gas analysis.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.

Qualifications 

• 6 months of experience in pulmonology or a related clinical setting
• DEA License
• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant License
• Must hold a Master's Degree in Nursing
• Completed degree from an accredited program
• A year of experience in Pulmonology or respiratory care
• Preferred experience in documenting EMR (Epic, Cerner, PCC, etc.)
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and stand / walk / work on your feet up to 6-8 hours per day

Salary: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
