Vredevoogd is a leading HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and generator service provider committed to delivering exceptional service to homeowners. We are seeking an experienced, customer-focused Residential Comfort Advisor / Project Manager to join our growing team, providing homeowners with customized HVAC, generator, and electrical solutions.

This is a consultative, in-home sales position focused on understanding each customer's needs, evaluating their home, and recommending the right solutions for comfort, efficiency, safety, and reliability. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can build trust with homeowners, confidently guide them through their options, and ensure a smooth transition from the initial consultation through installation.

Expected Total Compensation: $90,000–$200,000 annually. This is a commission-based position, with total compensation determined by individual sales performance.

Job Responsibilities

• Meet with homeowners to understand their needs and recommend customized HVAC, generator, and electrical solutions.

• Educate customers on equipment options, features, benefits, warranties, financing, rebates, and available incentives.

• Perform thorough in-home evaluations, including taking accurate measurements, photos, and gathering the information needed to properly scope each project.

• Prepare and present professional proposals using approved company sales processes and presentations.

• Complete sales, financing, and project documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

• Maintain strong communication with customers throughout the sales process and ensure a smooth handoff to installation and operations teams.

• Coordinate with HVAC, generator, electrical, and installation teams to ensure sold projects are accurately scoped and prepared for installation.

• Follow up on open proposals, customer questions, and sales opportunities.

• Maintain accurate customer and project information within company systems.

• Stay current on products, equipment, financing programs, rebates, manufacturer updates, and industry trends.

• Represent Vredevoogd professionally and provide an exceptional customer experience at every interaction.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 1 year of sales experience required.

• In-home sales, HVAC, generator, electrical, or home improvement experience preferred.

• Strong consultative selling, communication, and customer service skills.

• Ability to build rapport, identify customer needs, and confidently present solutions.

• Strong organization, follow-up, and time-management skills.

• Comfortable using computers, mobile devices, CRM/service software, and other sales technology.

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment background check.

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Work Requirements

• Ability to travel to customer homes throughout the assigned service area.

• Ability to work in residential environments, including basements, attics, mechanical rooms, and outdoor areas.

• Ability to climb ladders and lift up to 50 pounds when necessary.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on customer and business needs, including occasional evenings or weekends.
