Über diese Project Engineer – Amberly Wind Farm Stelle bei Fulton Hogan

Fulton Hogan · Vor Ort · Christchurch
Mō te tūranga | About the role
We’re kicking off Fulton Hogan’s first-ever wind farm project in a couple of weeks, and we’re looking for a proven Project Engineer to help get this Amberley-based project out of the ground and running smoothly.
You’ll join ahead of main site works to help plan, coordinate and set the project up for success, then play a key role on site as construction ramps up. This is a hands-on role with real responsibility. You’ll need to back yourself, think clearly when plans shift, and make good calls when it counts.
We’re after someone already operating confidently at Project Engineer level. Wind farm experience is a bonus, but we’re especially keen to hear from people with strong logistics management and heavy civil structures (not vertical builds) or bridge experience who are ready to take on something new.
Just as important, you’ll bring the energy, enthusiasm and adaptability to help lead from the front and mentor developing engineers and site team members along the way.
Ngā tino kawenga mahi | Key role responsibilities
  • Lead day-to-day engineering delivery on site, with a strong focus on planning, sequencing and keeping work moving.
  • Own logistics management across key activities, including large concrete pours and other critical-path works.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to deliver safe, quality outcomes on programme.
  • Mentor early-career engineers and support the wider team by sharing knowledge, building capability and setting clear expectations.
  • Stay adaptable on site, respond quickly to change, and make sound decisions when challenges pop up.

Kei te kimi mātou i tētahi e whai ana i ēnei pūkenga | We’re looking for someone with
  • Proven experience already operating at Project Engineer level on civil infrastructure projects.
  • Strong logistics and coordination skills, ideally across large or complex concrete or structural works.
  • Structural or bridge experience that you’re keen to apply in a wind farm setting.
  • A collaborative, low-ego style with the confidence and people skills to mentor developing staff and work side by side with the team.
  • High energy, good enthusiasm, and the ability to adapt quickly, think on your feet and stay switched on when the pressure comes on.

He pai te mahi, he pai ngā painga | Good work, good benefits

  • Great discounts at a wide range of retailers.

Ko wai mātou | About us
At Fulton Hogan, we’re all about Good Work. Good Work is serious work, not so serious people. We solve real problems and build things that matter, but without the stiff corporate vibe. We’re flat, friendly and forward moving. Titles matter less than ideas, and the best ones can come from anywhere.

We set high standards and back our people to meet them. That means honest feedback, real responsibility and support to keep growing. If you’re after a place where you can bring your experience, share what you know, and help shape how we do things on a new kind of project, you’ll fit right in.
Me pēhea te tono | How to apply
If you’re an experienced Project Engineer keen to take on a high-responsibility site role and help deliver Fulton Hogan’s first wind farm project, we’d love to hear from you.
Apply now with your CV and a brief cover letter. We’ll be reviewing applications as they come in and may progress suitable people before the advertised closing date.
