They know they can count on us to not only anticipate their needs but to deliver the right answer every time.
The Role
LINQ is looking for a senior Program Manager to lead our most complex, highest-visibility engagements — statewide rollouts and other strategic account implementations that span multiple products, teams, and stakeholders. This is a role for someone who has run large-scale programs before and knows what it takes to keep them on track: clear governance, tight cross-functional coordination, and the judgment to know when to escalate and when to solve it themselves.
You’ll own the delivery of these programs end to end, working closely with Services leadership, Sales, Product, and Engineering to make sure strategic customers get the outcomes they signed up for — on time, on budget, and without surprises.
What You’ll Do
- Own program-level delivery for strategic accounts, including statewide and multi-district rollouts, from kickoff through go-live and stabilization
- Build and manage program plans that span multiple concurrent projects, workstreams, and internal teams
- Establish governance: status reporting, risk and escalation processes, and steering committee cadence for executive stakeholders (internal and customer-side)
- Identify and manage program-level risk before it becomes project-level fire — apply (or help refine) LINQ’s escalation framework to keep leadership informed at the right level of detail
- Partner with Sales and Account teams to scope new strategic engagements and set realistic delivery expectations
- Coordinate across Product and Engineering to flag and resolve cross-project dependencies and blockers
- Manage and mentor a small team of direct reports (Project Owners/Implementation Consultants) staffed to strategic accounts, where applicable
- Serve as the senior escalation point for strategic account risk — the person leadership and the customer both trust to tell them what’s really going on
- Continuously improve how LINQ delivers large, multi-stakeholder programs — playbooks, templates, and lessons learned that raise the bar for the whole Services team
What You’ll Bring
- 8+ years of program or project management experience, with a track record of leading large, multi-workstream engagements — ideally in SaaS, EdTech, or public sector implementations
- Experience managing statewide, enterprise, or multi-site rollouts specifically, not just single-site or single-product projects
- Demonstrated ability to manage up: comfortable presenting risk, status, and trade-offs to senior internal and customer executives
- Experience directly managing or mentoring other project managers or implementation staff
- Strong command of program governance — RAID logs, steering committees, phase gates, executive reporting — and the judgment to apply it without over-engineering a simpler engagement
- Comfortable operating with ambiguity; strategic accounts rarely follow the standard playbook
- PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification preferred, not required
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in K–12 education, state government, or public sector software implementations
- Familiarity with tools like Rocketlane, Smartsheet, or similar PM/PSA platforms
- Experience standing up or improving a PMO-style governance function
Location & Travel
This is a remote position, open to candidates across the U.S. Some travel is required — up to 25%, based on the needs of active projects (for example, on-site kickoffs, steering committee meetings, or go-live support for statewide rollouts).
