The Opportunity: 

UCF's Office of Undergraduate Studies, in collaboration with a campus-wide grant support team, is seeking a Program Manager II to implement the new Pegasus Launch Program. The Pegasus Launch Program is a comprehensive transfer student success program that guides students from transfer planning through graduation by connecting academic pathways, career readiness and High-Impact Practices to support long-term success.  If you are a driven, student-centered professional ready to make a lasting impact on transfer student success, we invite you to join Knight Nation and help shape the future — one student pathway at a time.

This is a visiting and renewable position. Visiting positions are based on circumstances, such as funding sources, which control the length of time for which the position is available. Position will be renewable up to a period of four years.

This is a Contract and Grant (C&G) funded position. Employment is subject to availability of funding and may cease at the time funding for this employment is depleted.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for the planning, implementation, assessment, and continuous improvement of the Pegasus Launch Program.
• Lead student recruitment, engagement, retention, and completion efforts across all Pegasus Launch milestones while reviewing participant progress and approving program completers.
• Manage program budgets, grant resources, reporting requirements, and compliance with university and funding agency expectations.
• Actively participate in the recruitment and selection, training, supervision, and performance evaluation of program staff, graduate assistants, and student employees.
• Build and sustain partnerships with campus units, DirectConnect institutions, and other key stakeholders; organize and co-chair the Pegasus Launch Advisory Board and related working groups.
• Direct marketing, communications, outreach, events, and sustainability planning to ensure long-term program growth, impact, and institutionalization beyond the grant period.
• Support other initiatives within the Office of Undergraduate Studies.
• Other duties as assigned. 

Minimum Qualifications: 

Bachelor's or Master's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education Management or relevant field.
• Experience managing a federally or state-funded educational program, including budget oversight, grant reporting, and compliance with funding agency expectations.
• Experience working directly with transfer student populations through academic pathways, advising, student success coaching, or retention programming.
• Familiarity with High-Impact Practices (HIPs) such as undergraduate research, study abroad, internships, or other engaged learning opportunities in a higher education setting.
• Proficiency in program assessment and data-informed decision-making, including collecting, analyzing, and reporting on participant outcomes.

• The anticipated salary range for this position is $64,518 - $80,000. The final salary will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and internal equity considerations.

• This is a Contract and Grant (C&G) funded position. Employment is subject to availability of funding and may cease at the time funding for this employment is depleted.
