About the role
We are looking for an Administrator to work within our Professional Development and Standards Team on a fixed term basis.

If you are an organised, detail‑driven professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, this role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on our members’ professional journey. As an Administrator within our Professional Development and Standards Team, you’ll be at the heart of the Chartered membership interview process — coordinating panel members, scheduling interviews, and ensuring every participant enjoys a smooth, positive experience.

You’ll play a key role in supporting our Chartered and Chartered Fellowship assessment structure, from allocating volunteers and contractors to processing assessors’ purchase orders and invoices with accuracy and efficiency. Your work will help maintain the high standards our members expect and rely on.

What you’ll be doing:

·         Interview coordination — engaging with panel members, organising interviews, and ensuring seamless delivery.

·         Assessor and volunteer support — managing calendars, monitoring portfolio review timelines, and responding to queries.

·         CPD and PJP reporting — producing monthly reports and CPD audit summaries.

·         Workshop bookings — coordinating logistics and ensuring smooth delivery.

·         Member support — answering calls, processing CRM actions, managing upgrades, and issuing certificates.

What you'll bring

You are someone who takes pride in precision, clarity, and organisation. With proven administrative experience, you’ll bring confident communication skills, strong relationship‑building abilities, and a calm, structured approach to managing multiple deadlines. You’ll be comfortable following business processes, proficient across Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Forms, Excel), and ready to contribute positively to a collaborative team.

Essential criteria

·         Confidence in following, and providing feedback, on business processes

·         Strong written and verbal communication for internal and external customers

·         High attention to detail in generating reports and sharing relevant information

·         Excellent time management and prioritisation skills

·         Experience working effectively within a multifunctional office-based team environment.

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Excel

·         Experience in volunteer engagement and/or experience working for a membership professional body
