Job Description

Job Summary:

This is a third shift position Saturday's through Wednesday's from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM. For the first months, new hires may need to train during the 1st shift 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM before moving to the 3rd shift.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Performs electrical measurements and tests in accordance with test procedures and engineering specifications

• Prepares and validates test stations and equipment

• Maintains records on work performed, analyzes test data, and reports results and performance metrics

• Removes, replaces and assembles parts and assemblies

• Performs necessary touch up and cleaning of deliverable hardware

• Assists Engineering to develop and refine test procedures for new products and processes

• Monitors inventory of consumables required to support test activities     

• Maintains inventory of test equipment and advises on equipment needs, repairs, calibration requirements, and obsolescence to support production schedules.

Job Qualifications:

• ISO 9001 experience – preferred

• Knowledge of ESD procedures

• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical concepts 

• Ability to read and understand written test procedures 

• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

• Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods

• Must be able to push, pull, or lift up to 25 lbs.

• Must be able to use a microscope up to 8 hours a day

• Must be able to use hands to move and assemble very small electronic parts and fastening devices

• Must be able to speak, read, and write using the English language to perform the essential functions of the job
