As a Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for driving the commercial success and profitable growth of the assigned electronics product portfolio across Malaysia. You will lead product strategy, pricing, market development, and commercialization initiatives while serving as the technical and commercial expert for your product lines.

You will work closely with Sales, Technical Service, R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Global Product Management, you will identify market opportunities, develop customer-focused solutions, support strategic projects, and execute product lifecycle management to maximize revenue, profitability, and market share.

This role combines product management, technical marketing, and customer engagement, requiring strong business acumen, technical expertise, and cross-functional leadership.

You Will Make an Impact By:

  • Develop and execute product marketing strategies aligned with regional and global business objectives.
  • Drive profitable growth through effective product positioning, pricing, and portfolio management.
  • Monitor market trends, customer investments, industry developments, and competitive activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Lead market assessments, customer needs analysis, and business case development for new products and technologies.
  • Establish and maintain pricing strategies that balance competitiveness with profitability.
  • Work closely with Sales and Technical Service teams to support key customer opportunities, qualifications, and commercial negotiations.
  • Serve as the technical and commercial advisor for assigned product lines, providing product expertise to both customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Lead new product introductions, commercialization activities, and product lifecycle management from concept through market launch.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Global Product Management to ensure successful product development and delivery.
  • Support strategic customer projects by coordinating technical evaluations, product qualifications, and implementation activities.
  • Prepare business plans, sales forecasts, product performance reviews, and market intelligence reports for management.
  • Develop marketing materials, product training programs, and customer presentations to strengthen market awareness.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to commercial and technical teams, fostering continuous capability development.

Skills You Bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Marketing, Product Management, Technical Sales, Application Engineering, or related roles within the electronics, PCB, semiconductor, specialty chemicals, or surface finishing industries.
  • Strong understanding of PCB manufacturing processes, specialty chemicals, or electronic materials is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience in product commercialization, pricing strategy, and business development.
  • Excellent analytical, commercial, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and customer relationship management capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders across global organizations.
  • Willingness to travel within the region to support customers and business development activities.

Physical Demands & Working Conditions

  • Perform activities such as sitting, standing, walking, and typing for extended periods.
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for approximately 60–70% of the working day.
  • Frequently operate computers and other office productivity equipment.
  • Ability to communicate technical and commercial information clearly with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to review technical documents, product specifications, and detailed reports.
  • Work in a professional office, laboratory, manufacturing, and customer production environments.
  • Occasionally work around chemical processing equipment, mechanical systems, electrical hardware, heat, water, and other industrial utilities while adhering to all company safety requirements.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
  • Noise levels are generally moderate in office environments and may increase when working in manufacturing or customer production facilities.
