Position Summary
As the Head of Product Marketing for the A Series Category, you will be responsible for driving the overall product strategy, revenue growth, market share and supply chain effectiveness in the A Series segment. You will lead to establish Go-to-market strategies and innovation while managing high-impact initiatives and developing team members. This role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of the A Series segment, exceptional product & sales channel acumen, and a proven track record of scaling businesses in competitive markets.Role and Responsibilities
Roles and responsibilities include, but is not limited to:
Product Strategy Formulation and Execution:
Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to create product line-up strategies that maximize sales, market share, and profitability.
Derive differentiated value propositions and innovative concepts to enhance product competitiveness.
Monitor competitor activities to maintain Samsung's leadership in the flagship segment.
Go-to-Market Strategy Set Up and Execution:
Identify new market opportunities and customer segments to drive growth.
Develop and execute differentiated marketing strategies for new product launches.
Lead cross-functional teams to ensure seamless GTM strategy execution.
Supply Chain and Forecast Management:
Forecast Sell-in and Sell-out to achieve targets and bridge gaps with realistic run-rates.
Collaborate with SCM teams to ensure efficient operations aligned with segment KPIs.
Cross-Functional & HQ/Regional Collaboration:
Work with marketing communications, retail, sales, and channel development teams for aligned product launches and campaigns.
Gather feedback from sales, retail, and channel teams to align GTM strategies with market needs.
Actively collaborate with HQ and regional offices for balanced planning and execution.
Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have/be able to:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum 12 years of progressive product marketing experience in mobile or telecommunications industry. Multi-faceted experience in FMCG industry is welcome
Proven track record of leading product and GTM strategies in competitive markets.
Deep understanding of the mobile flagship segment, including consumer behavior, distribution channels, and market trends.
Understanding of product development, supply chain, and sales channel operations.
Strategic thinker with adaptability to market changes.
Strong business acumen and risk mitigation capabilities.
Exceptional leadership and team-building skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Resilience in challenging situations.
Willingness to work fully on-site at McKinley Hill, Taguig.
