The Role

Product Engineers at Open.cx own problems end-to-end: from spotting an opportunity, to talking directly with users, to shipping the feature in production with no layers in between, no hand-off culture. You are a full-stack owner.

This role focuses on our telephony platform: phone numbers, SIP, call routing, and keeping enterprise voice traffic reliable at scale. You will work on a genuinely hard product, AI customer experience infrastructure used by enterprises at scale across Europe, the US, and the GCC. The codebase is React + TypeScript throughout. The problems are real, the users are live, and the impact is measurable and scalable.

What You'll Do

• Identify product opportunities: Spot gaps or improvements before anyone asks you to. Bring proposals, not just execution.
• Talk to users directly: Understand problems by speaking with the people experiencing them. No layers, no filtered requirements.
• Ship features end-to-end: Plan, prioritise, and implement full-stack features (React + TypeScript) from concept to production.
• Own quality: Code reviews, testing, performance, reliability this is your product as much as anyone's.
• Collaborate closely: Work with the Customer Engineering team to incorporate real user feedback into what you build next.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• Experience with telephony or real-time communication systems (SIP, WebRTC, or similar) is a big plus.
• 3+ years of experience building and shipping software products.
• Strong TypeScript and React you are comfortable owning a full-stack feature without hand-holding.
• Product instinct you can look at a workflow and know what to fix, not just implement what you are told.
• Speed and quality in balance you ship fast without leaving messes.
• Willingness to talk to customers and let reality shape your priorities.
