About the Role

Who We Are:

Are you a passionate innovator looking to harness the power of technology to do more good? You've come to the right place. At Bonterra, our purpose is to power those who power social impact. To that end, we serve the people who make social good possible—the doers behind the scenes across nonprofits, public agencies, corporations, philanthropic organizations, and foundations.

As the second-largest and fastest-growing social good software company in the world, Bonterra brings together leading solutions from CyberGrants, EveryAction, Network for Good, Social Solutions, and their respective entities. By bringing our intuitive technology and expertise together, Bonterra will enable unprecedented connectivity between social good organizations and their community of supporters and constituents. This will reshape philanthropic giving, empower digital transformation, and bring the social good sector the technology it needs to accelerate lasting social change.

We are a globally distributed team with team members across the US, Mexico, and beyond. This is a fully remote position based in Mexico. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Mexico.

About the Role:

The Procurement Specialist, Source-to-Pay (S2P) supports end-to-end procurement operations, including sourcing support, supplier coordination, contract administration, procure-to-pay (P2P) processing, and process documentation. The ideal candidate brings foundational procurement experience, familiarity with SaaS vendor relationships, strong organizational skills, and a detail-oriented mindset to help drive compliance, efficiency, and cost awareness across the organization. This role works closely with US-based teams across Finance, Legal, and Operations, with all communications conducted in English and core hours aligned to US time zones.

Key Responsibilities:

Source-to-Pay Operations

  • Support and execute day-to-day S2P processes, ensuring smooth coordination between sourcing, contracting, purchasing, and payment functions
  • Follow and help document procurement policies and controls aligned to corporate standards
  • Serve as an active user of S2P platforms, maintaining data integrity, supporting workflow execution, and assisting with user adoption across business units

Contract Administration

  • Assist with contract lifecycle activities including tracking, renewals, and supplier off-boarding
  • Maintain the centralized contract repository, ensuring all agreements are current, compliant, and auditable
  • Coordinate with Legal, Finance, and business stakeholders to gather required documentation and support contract execution
  • Monitor key contract milestones and flag upcoming renewals, expirations, and compliance gaps

Procurement Operations & Supplier Coordination

  • Support RFx processes (RFI, RFQ, RFP), vendor evaluations, and supplier onboarding
  • Assist in coordinating supplier reviews and tracking performance against SLAs, quality, and cost metrics
  • Help identify cost-reduction opportunities and support reporting on savings initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with three-way matching, approval workflows, and internal audit requirements within the P2P cycle

Technology & Reporting

  • Maintain and update procurement dashboards tracking spend, savings, cycle times, and compliance metrics
  • Support S2P platform administration tasks and assist stakeholders with platform navigation and usage
  • Identify and flag opportunities for process automation or manual effort reduction

Stakeholder Support

  • Serve as a point of contact for procurement-related questions from US-based teams including Finance, Legal, Operations, IT, and HR
  • Prepare data summaries, reports, and documentation to support procurement decisions and leadership updates
  • Communicate clearly in English with US-based stakeholders at all levels to resolve issues and gather information

Who You Are:

You are a detail-oriented, organized procurement professional who enjoys supporting complex operational processes and building strong working relationships. You are comfortable navigating procurement systems, coordinating with vendors, and collaborating with US-based teams in a fully remote environment. You take ownership of your work, communicate proactively in English, and are eager to grow within a procurement function.

Required Qualifications:

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (Licenciatura in a relevant discipline accepted)

Experience

  • 2–4 years of relevant procurement, purchasing, or vendor coordination experience
  • Hands-on experience supporting CLM and/or P2P processes — direct system usage and workflow execution required
  • Familiarity with supplier coordination, requisition-to-PO workflows, invoice matching, and audit compliance
  • Experience working with at least one Source-to-Pay platform such as Zip, Ivalua, Ariba, Coupa, or Jaggaer
  • Exposure to SaaS vendor management, including subscription tracking, license coordination, or contract renewals
  • Solid Excel and data skills; ability to build and maintain reports and support business case preparation
  • Full professional-level English required — written and verbal — for daily collaboration with US-based teams
  • Core working hours align with US Central or Eastern time zones; overlap of at least 6 hours with US business hours required
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection required
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Zip (intake orchestration, approval workflows, sourcing, CLM, P2P, or supplier management modules)
  • Familiarity with category management concepts
  • Background in technology or SaaS companies where software spend is a significant part of the procurement portfolio

Über Bonterra

For too long, the people behind the scenes of social good have used cumbersome paper and spreadsheets or outdated technology created for sales teams to report on outcomes for their organizations—methods and tools that reduce the amount of time they could spend doing good, fail to uncover valuable insights and details around outcomes of their good work, and even lead to disengagement and turnover. At Bonterra, we’re changing that. We work with nonprofit organizations, public agencies, corporations, philanthropic organizations, and foundations to help connect with donors and volunteers, distribute grants and funds, drive fundraising and grant acquisition, manage casework, and measure outcomes
