What You Will Do  

Privacy and AI-related tasks such as:

• Providing privacy legal opinion & Conducting privacy legal risk assessment
• Contract review, DPA review and contract inventory maintenance
• Privacy / Data Protection law & regulation review and update
• Privacy Policy & Privacy Plan review and update
• Data Subject Rights management
• Privacy Incident handing
• Government correspondence
• Supporting Privacy review (Privacy Impact Assessment)
• Supporting Privacy Monitoring and Internal Audit
• Conducting AI use case legal review.

Basic Qualifications  

• Experience & Education:
  • Must be a qualified lawyer holding a valid lawyer license (Bar admission).
  • 5 to 10 years of proven legal experience - Privacy, GDPR and relevant areas, either practicing in a law firm or working as an in-house legal counsel.
• Soft Skills: Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships across different departments and with external partners.
• Language Skills:
  • Mandarin Chinese: Native proficiency.
  • English: Professional working proficiency (able to communicate smoothly in a professional work environment)
