The Planner is responsible for Quarterly, Monthly and Daily planning processes to help ensure optimal plans are established for the manufacturing of products such that materials can be purchased.
This position reports to the Planning Manager and is part of the Planning Department located in Pasir Gudang, Johor and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Production Planning: Create and manage production orders based on build plans and customer demand.
- Capacity & Demand Analysis: Compare production demand with available capacity, identify constraints, and escalate issues.
- Forecasting & Inventory: Support demand forecasting, monitor forecast accuracy, and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, Production, Quality, Finance, and Distribution to ensure smooth production and timely delivery.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify forecast gaps, trends, and supply chain issues, and support S&OP activities and other supply chain projects.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering, Statistics, Economics Operations, Business or Marketing is required.
- Experience in supply chain planning, with strong knowledge of planning, procurement, manufacturing, inventory, customer service, and distribution.
- Strong understanding of demand forecasting and how forecasts impact production, inventory, and overall business operations.
- Excellent quantitative, statistical, analytical, and critical-thinking skills, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Physical/Environment Requirements:
- Indoor role requiring standing/walking.
- Must follow safety procedures, use appropriate PPE, and operate only approved low-risk tools.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Warehouse and Inventory control prior experience in manufacturing facility.

Bonus / Incentive Pay
Up to10 % of annual base salary
This job is also eligible for bonus pay. This is the target earnings as % of base annual salary, subject to objective eligibility criteria and performance conditions as set out in the applicable scheme terms and conditions.
This job is also eligible for a comprehensive package of benefits and specifically phone allowance, medical card, dental allowance and optical allowance. Details regarding these benefits will be provided separately.
