Position Highlights
Specialty: Nephrology
Open to experienced providers or new graduates (Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years of completing residency)
Position Location: Massena Hospital (Massena, NY) and/or Canton-Potsdam Hospital (Potsdam, NY)
Schedule: Flexible schedule to meet a 40 hour work week.
Call Requirement: Continuity of care call and eConsult system needs
Practice Setting: Outpatient Nephrology practice
EMR: Epic
Team Structure: Collaboration with St. Lawrence Region Physicians and clinical support staff as well as other RRH System Physicians and providers

Base salary range of $400,000-$425,000*

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full-time applicant. It may be modified in the future and may be eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts. In addition to the base pay range, certain provider positions may be eligible for variable compensation in accordance with health system pay practices. This may include productivity and/or value-based clinical incentives, bonus compensation, or other forms of variable pay.

Moderate - Clinical - Moderate clinical roles are patient facing roles that require continual movement, including standing, walking, and lifting 20–50 lbs., along with pushing and pulling medical equipment and assisting with patient positioning. Employees perform frequent bending, twisting, and reaching while completing fine motor tasks in busy or confined clinical environments. High sensory acuity is essential for monitoring patient status and responding to alarms or safety concerns. Emotional and cognitive demands are substantial, involving decision-making under pressure, responding to emergencies, and maintaining sustained focus. Environmental exposures include infectious agents, bodily fluids, chemicals, and radiation. TB testing, mask-fit testing, and physical exams are common requirements.For disease specific care programs refer to the program specific requirements of the department for further specifications on experience and educational expectations, including continuing education requirements.
