Position Summary

Physician participating in the care of inpatient obstetrical patients, including but not limited to coverage for labor and delivery and postpartum patients, obstetric emergencies, and triage.Responsibilities • Provide comprehensive obstetric care for patients presenting in labor, including evaluation, management, and delivery. • Respond to obstetric emergencies and perform necessary surgical interventions, including cesarean sections. • Manage obstetric triage and collaborate with nursing staff to ensure timely and appropriate care. • Serve as the attending physician for unassigned patients and support private-practice physicians as needed. • Ensure continuity of care by communicating effectively with outpatient providers and consulting services. • Prescribe and administer medications or therapies to treat disease or injury. • Order radiologic imaging or labs as indicated. • Document all patient interactions accurately and timely in the electronic health record (EHR) inclusive of direct patient encounters and asynchronous care. • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical education, and interdisciplinary team meetings. Requirements • Medical degree (MD or DO) and completion of a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. • Board certified/eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology at time of employment. • Licensed in the state of WA by the time of employment. • DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority. • Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association. • Strong diagnostic, surgical, and communication skills. • Compassionate bedside manner and ability to handle emergency situations.

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $250.00 - $250.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
