Physical Therapist

Location: Estero, FL
Salary Range: $90,000–$110,000 per year, based on experience
Hours: Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Patient Schedule: Approximately 1–2 patients each hour

Job Overview

We are recruiting an Physical Therapist to work with patients whose injuries or musculoskeletal conditions have affected their ability to move and function normally.

Treatment goals will vary from patient to patient. Some individuals may need to regain joint motion after surgery, while others may be working toward improved strength, stability, or a safe return to work and recreational activity.

The Physical Therapist will use objective findings and clinical judgment to guide treatment throughout the rehabilitation process.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical function and movement limitations
• Measure range of motion, strength, balance, and mobility
• Establish patient-specific rehabilitation objectives
• Select therapeutic interventions based on clinical findings
• Provide progressive exercise and functional training
• Address deficits in movement control and physical performance
• Monitor response to treatment throughout the course of care
• Update rehabilitation strategies as patients improve
• Provide clear instruction for continued exercise outside the clinic
• Document treatment outcomes and clinical decisions

Requirements

• Current Florida PT License
• DPT or MSPT Degree
• Prior outpatient physical therapy experience
• Experience working with orthopedic patients
• Effective patient communication and clinical reasoning skills
