About the Role
This isn’t just any Personal Assistant role. While you can expect to provide administrative support as expected of a Personal Assistant, you can also work on an array of exciting projects for the Pathology unit, which may include assisting with investigating the viability of opening new medical centres, assisting with evaluating software to manage for the Pathology fleet of vehicles or assisting with integrating our laboratory system with other systems.

In addition to having input on these projects, you’ll primarily be providing support to the Director of Pathology and Pathology Operations Manager. With a keen interest in your development, they’ll be providing you with exposure to the many facets of Pathology.

The Administrative support you will provide might include attending and scheduling meetings, minute taking and coordinating events.

Classifications for this position will range from $69,439- $76,764 per annum + superannuation.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working alongside and contributing to a supportive team, with a can-do attitude. Additionally, you’ll hold the following skills and attributes:

• Excellent computer skills with the ability to work across a range of software packages including Microsoft Office suite
• Strong communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop effective relationships and partnerships across a range of stakeholders
• Demonstrated organisational and time management skills, with the capacity to determine priorities, meet deadlines and flexibly balance competing demands
• Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain

About Pathology
St Vincent’s Pathology provides diagnostic testing to both inpatients of St Vincent’s Private Hospitals located in Fitzroy, East Melbourne and Kew, St Vincent’s Public Hospital Fitzroy as well as servicing privately referred patients from over Pathology Collection Centres located across Metropolitan Melbourne.  St Vincent’s Pathology is a member of a multidisciplinary health care team which delivers care in a patient focused manner.
