Investigation Specialist

As an Investigation Specialist at OCBC, you'll play a critical role in protecting our customers and the bank from financial crimes. You'll work on complex cases, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external agencies to uncover the truth. To succeed in this role, you'll need to be meticulous and thorough in your investigations. You'll gather and analyze evidence, identify patterns and connections, and build strong cases to support your findings. Your ability to think critically and communicate effectively will be essential in driving successful outcomes.

What you do

• Conduct thorough investigations into suspected financial crimes, including money laundering, fraud, and other illicit activities
• Gather and analyze evidence, including financial data, transaction records, and witness statements
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Risk Management and Compliance, to identify and mitigate potential risks
• Work with external agencies, including law enforcement and regulatory bodies, to share intelligence and best practices
• Develop and maintain detailed case files and reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness

Who you are

• A degree in a relevant field, such as law, finance, or criminology
• At least 3 years of experience in investigations, compliance, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to think critically
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of initiative and motivation
