As a Payer Health Transformation Associate you will support client engagements focused on payer operations, process improvement, and transformation initiatives within our Management Consulting practice. As an Associate you will learn from client work, contribute to project tasks, conduct research, prepare analyses and models, capture current-state processes, and help shape future-state approaches while building your skills in a fast-paced environment.
In this role at PwC, you will support teams serving healthcare clients through data review, meeting preparation, recommendations development, and coordination across project activities. You will also help with payer-focused work such as operational performance improvement, market trend review, technology-enabled transformation, and analysis of functions like enrollment, claims, eligibility, care management, utilization management, and payment integrity.
Responsibilities
- Supporting payer transformation workstreams by gathering information, organizing analysis, and preparing client-ready materials
- Conducting research on payer operations, market trends, and healthcare transformation topics to inform recommendations
- Developing Excel models and simple cost-benefit analyses to assess operating model and process improvement options
- Capturing current-state processes and helping document future-state workflows for technology-enabled change efforts
- Analyzing data from operational, financial, and performance sources to identify patterns, gaps, and opportunities
- Preparing presentations, summaries, and storyline drafts that translate technical findings into clear business insights
- Assisting with project plans, meeting preparation, and follow-up actions across client engagement activities
- Applying SQL, automation tools, or analytics software to support reporting, data validation, and trend analysis
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 1 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
