Part Time Nanny & House Manager (Special Needs Experience Preferred) – LaGrange, GA

A supportive family in LaGrange, GA 30240 is seeking a committed, reliable nanny and house manager to care for their two children, ages 8 and 15 in their pet-free home. The 15-year-old has Cerebral Palsy, uses a wheelchair and communication device, and requires a caregiver comfortable with physical assistance; the 8-year-old is typically developing. This role focuses on helping with school pickups, transportation, homework, and household management so mom can focus on therapy sessions for the 15-year-old.

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday: 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM
• Includes 1 Saturday per month (flexible with another weekday)
• 25 hours per week

Family Specifications:

• Pet-free home
• Mother's helper model where caregiver manages afternoon transport and house management so mom can support the elder child with therapies
• Warm, structured household seeking long-term stability

Responsibilities:

• Provide school pickup and transportation for the 8-year-old to extracurricular activities
• Provide companionship, social engagement, and homework help as needed
• Act as a mother's helper, providing assistance with the 15-year-old as needed
• Manage household tasks before/between school pickups: meal prep, grocery shopping, laundry, and light cleaning

Requirements:

• Ability to handle the physical demands associated with caring for a special needs teenager
• Valid Driver's License and reliable personal vehicle for school transportation

Preferred:

• Experience working with individuals with Cerebral Palsy
• Previous house management or mother's helper experience

Compensation:

• $19 – $21 per hour (willing to pay higher for the right candidate)
• Mileage reimbursement for driving duties
