Über diese Panel Manager Stelle bei YouGov
The Regional Panel Manager is accountable for regional panel insight, panel and sample-health diagnosis, audience development planning, and effective coordination between regional commercial and research needs and global panel activity.
The role owns the diagnosis, prioritisation and coordination of regional panel needs, while recognising that execution may sit across Panel, Sampling/Operations, Product, Research, Commercial or other global teams.
The Regional Panel Manager ensures that panel-development decisions are evidence-led and focused both on appropriate population benchmarks and on YouGov's ability to reliably deliver commercially and strategically important audiences.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and report on regional panel health, including panel size, composition, availability, utilisation and activity, assessing performance against appropriate demographic and geographic population benchmarks as well as identified research and commercial audience requirements.
- Develop a fact-based understanding of regional sample feasibility, identifying where panel depth, geographic distribution, incidence, profiling coverage or other panel-related limitations constrain YouGov's ability to reliably deliver priority audiences.
- Investigate and troubleshoot suspected panel-related issues affecting commercial delivery or growth, determining whether the underlying constraint is genuinely panel-related or sits elsewhere, and coordinating the appropriate cross-functional response.
- Work with regional Commercial and Research teams, as well as Sampling/Operations and external sample buyers, to translate current demand, recurring feasibility challenges and longer-term growth plans into clear, prioritised audience requirements.
- Develop and maintain the regional panel development plan, defining priority geographic, demographic and other audiences and establishing measurable objectives based on identified business and research needs.
- Recommend targeted panel-development interventions only where evidence identifies a genuine panel constraint, recognising that the appropriate response may involve Panel, Sampling/Operations, Product, Research, Commercial, external sample partners or changes to existing processes rather than panel recruitment alone.
- Act as the primary regional point of contact for panel matters, representing regional requirements and providing local market context to global Panel and other relevant teams.
- Own the coordination of responses to regional panel and sample requirements, ensuring clear ownership, agreed next steps and appropriate timelines across functions; track progress and escalate unresolved needs or dependencies. The role is accountable for diagnosis, prioritisation and coordination, but is not necessarily the direct operational owner of every intervention.
- Identify gaps in critical profiling coverage and coordinate the actions required to maintain the profiling depth necessary to support priority research and commercial audiences.
- Identify and coordinate regional experimentation across acquisition, onboarding, engagement and retention, establishing clear objectives and evaluating whether interventions materially improve coverage, availability and deliverability for the audiences they were designed to address.
- Measure the effectiveness of the regional panel development plan, focusing not simply on recruitment volumes or panel growth but on whether identified panel constraints have been resolved and priority audiences have become more reliably deliverable.
- Monitor survey-related member feedback, third-party reviews and relevant quality indicators, investigating emerging issues and coordinating action where necessary to protect panelist experience, engagement and panel quality.
