Über diese NPD Specialist Stelle bei unybrands
Founded in 2020, unybrands is the next-generation brand accelerator platform built to acquire, integrate, and scale digital-first consumer brands. Headquartered in Miami, with offices in New York, London, Berlin, and Shenzhen, our 240+ team brings deep expertise across e-commerce, brand management, consumer retail, operational scaling, and M&A.
Since inception, we have acquired 30+ brands across Pet Care, Personal Care, Home Care, Supplements, Baby & Juvenile, Garden & Outdoor, Sports & Fitness, and Home & Lifestyle — completing 20+ acquisitions and delivering 16 consecutive quarters of like-for-like organic growth post-integration.
Our competitive advantage lies in a fully integrated operating system purpose-built to transform digital brands into omni-channel category leaders. Powered by a proprietary technology stack built on NetSuite ERP with 200+ data integrations, our platform enables brands to thrive across marketplaces, direct-to-consumer channels, and brick-and-mortar retail.
We focus on acquiring digital-first brands within carefully selected verticals, then applying tailored value creation playbooks that drive growth through innovation, expansion, and automation. We believe the next generation of consumer brands will be built differently — and we're building the AI-enabled retail tech platform to help them consolidate and win.
OVERVIEW
The NPD Specialist owns execution of the refresh and supplier-led line-extension pipeline for an assigned brand cluster. You are the person who makes sure nothing stalls, nothing surprises us and nothing ships that we would not be proud to put our name on.
You will learn the full system — the stage-gates, the supplier playbooks, the trackers, the way claims get locked at design rather than at launch. Master this and you become the reason products move.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN
- Pipeline execution. Drive your assigned slate of refresh and line-extension projects through every stage-gate, keeping the launch tracker honest and current.
- Supplier coordination. Work with suppliers on samples, specs and timeline commitments. Hold suppliers to committed dates and chase the detail others miss. Partner with Sourcing on commercial topics.
- Stage-gate hygiene. Prepare clean, complete gate packages so reviews are decisions and not status updates.
- Cross-functional handoffs. Be the connective tissue between engineering, design, claims and regulatory, testing, marketing and operations so handoffs are seamless.
- Keep specs, briefs and approvals organized in the team systems so the whole organization can trust a single source of truth.
- Post-launch learning. Capture what worked and what did not on each launch so the next project starts from a better baseline.
WHAT YOU BRING
- 2 plus years in product development, sourcing, project coordination or a related CPG or consumer hardware role.
- A bias for follow-through. You close loops, confirm details and never assume.
- Comfort juggling many projects at once without dropping the ball on any of them.
- Clear, direct communication with suppliers and internal partners alike.
- Curiosity about how products are made and a genuine interest in the categories we play in.
- Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools.
WHERE THIS LEADS
Level 1 is your foundation. Demonstrate that you can run a cluster cleanly and the next step is Level 2 — heavier, more complex work, deeper autonomy and the first people looking to you for guidance.
