Position Overview

The Compliance Specialist to support the effective design, implementation, and continuous improvement of its global compliance program. This role contributes to the Company’s ability to prevent, detect, and respond to compliance risks by supporting risk‑based controls, monitoring activities, training initiatives, and investigations.

Reporting to the Regional Compliance Manager, the Compliance Specialist works closely with cross‑functional stakeholders to help ensure that compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls are implemented consistently and operate effectively in practice. The role supports Prysmian Group’s commitment to ethical conduct, regulatory compliance, and a strong culture of integrity across North America and globally.

Role and Responsibilities

Compliance Program Support

  • Maintain a working knowledge of Prysmian Group compliance policies and procedures, including antitrust, anti‑corruption, conflicts of interest, ethics, and related regulatory requirements.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Assist in translating compliance expectations into practical, business‑ready guidance.

Risk Assessment, Monitoring & Controls

  • Support compliance risk assessments by assisting with risk identification and documentation.
  • Assist in monitoring and testing compliance controls, including site audits, third‑party reviews, and project‑based assessments.
  • Help evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of compliance controls.
  • Support tracking of remediation actions and preparation of compliance reporting.

Training & Communications

  • Assist in the development and delivery of compliance training and awareness initiatives.
  • Support tailored training programs on Helpline, antitrust, anti‑bribery, and related topics.
  • Promote awareness of compliance expectations and ethical decision‑making.

Investigations & Issue Management

  • Support ethics and compliance investigations, including Helpline matters, in accordance with corporate policies.
  • Assist with documentation, evidence handling, and issue tracking.

Regulatory Monitoring & Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor regulatory developments and support compliance impact assessments.
  • Participate in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Travel

• Domestic and international travel of approximately 25–40% annually.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
  • 2–5 years of experience in compliance, risk management, internal audit, legal, or related functions.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Preferred

• Fluent in Spanish and/or French

• Experience supporting global compliance programs and related systems.

• Familiarity with DOJ or ISO‑aligned compliance frameworks.

• Exposure to audits, investigations, or third‑party risk management.
