micro1 is engaging Music Editors to work on a video annotation project. The core of this role is watching video closely and labeling it accurately. You'll review footage, tag what happens and exactly when it happens, and apply a detailed set of guidelines consistently across many sessions. No prior AI experience is required — your attention to timing and detail is what matters.

Scope of Work

1. Watch video clips and annotate them following a detailed set of guidelines.
2. Tag actions and events in each clip, marking the exact point where each one starts and ends.
3. Identify scene changes, cuts, and shifts in the pacing or intensity of the action.
4. Label the tone or mood of each section and mark where it changes.
5. Apply the labeling rules the same way across every clip so the data stays consistent.
6. Re-check your own work and correct boundaries that are slightly off.
7. Flag unclear or borderline cases to project leads instead of guessing, and help resolve them.
8. Suggest improvements to the annotation guidelines when you find gaps or repeated confusion.
9. Complete assigned annotation volume on time and at the required quality level.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Background in post-production or editorial work — music editing, video editing, sound editing, or similar. These roles build exactly the timing and frame-level precision this project needs.
2. Strong sense of timing: able to judge where a moment truly begins and ends, not just approximately.
3. Sharp eye for detail and the patience to stay consistent across long sessions of similar material.
4. Comfortable following written guidelines precisely and applying them the same way every time.
5. Able to spot when something in the footage does not fit the rules, and raise it instead of forcing a label.
6. Clear written and verbal communication for working with a remote team.
7. Previous video annotation or data labeling experience is a plus, but not required.
