At Versent, we're growing our Microsoft business and looking for a driven Microsoft Azure & AI Sales Specialist to lead customer growth across Azure, Azure AI, Copilot and GitHub.

This is a high-impact role for someone who loves building relationships, creating opportunities and helping customers solve complex business challenges through technology. You'll partner closely with Microsoft, Telstra and some of Australia's most experienced cloud and AI specialists to shape opportunities from initial conversations through to successful outcomes.

What you'll do

• Drive new customer acquisition and expand existing Microsoft CSP customer relationships.

• Identify, qualify and close Azure, Azure AI, Copilot and GitHub opportunities.

• Build strong executive relationships with customers, Microsoft and Telstra stakeholders.

• Own the full sales lifecycle from prospecting through to contract signature and handover.

• Lead commercial discussions, proposal development, negotiations and deal strategy.

• Work alongside presales, engineering and delivery teams to shape compelling customer solutions.

• Contribute to Microsoft's growth across cloud, AI and modern application opportunities.

What you'll bring

• Experience in technology sales, cloud sales or Microsoft-focused business development.

• A proven track record of winning new business and growing existing customer relationships.

• Experience selling Azure, AI, cloud or enterprise technology solutions.

• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills and pipeline management capability.

• The confidence to engage technical teams, business stakeholders and executive leaders.

• A growth mindset and passion for helping customers realise value from modern Microsoft technologies.
