The Center of Excellence Sourcing team is the backbone of American Express Global Business Travel's operational success across EMEA. We partner with internal GBT colleagues to deliver strategic sourcing solutions, negotiate with suppliers, and optimize logistics for corporate events and meetings. Working with us means being part of a collaborative, fast-paced environment where your expertise directly impacts client satisfaction and business growth.

What You’ll Do on a Typical Day :

• Lead sourcing activities and supplier negotiations, ensuring competitive pricing and optimal service delivery
• Manage RFPs (Request for Proposals) with hotels and venues to secure rooms and event services
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand meeting requirements, timelines, and budget constraints
• Handle contract negotiations while maintaining strong supplier relationships
• Oversee expense tracking and savings documentation
• Meet all deadlines as established by Team Leader
• Maintain accurate records, data input, and complete file management as outlined in American Express GBT and client policies and procedures
• Actively participate in improving inter-departmental processes, systems, and communications

What We’re Looking For:

• Fluency in English and French (additional EMEA languages a plus)
• At least 1 year of event management or sourcing experience
• Proven ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers and manage complex vendor relationships
• Strong knowledge of MS Office and confidence working across a variety of computer applications
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple demands simultaneously
• Demonstrated ability to work accurately and meet tight deadlines consistently
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments
• Proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous process improvement
