--Monitor dock activity, appointment flow, trailer utilization, loading/unloading productivity, detention risk, and shipment cutoffs.

--Investigate and resolve receiving discrepancies, shortages, overages, damages, mis-shipments, and other shipping exceptions.

--Inventory Ownership & Control

--Own warehouse inventory accuracy and integrity, including location control, transaction discipline, reconciliation, and inventory-adjustment governance.

--Establish and maintain a disciplined cycle count program; ensure counts are completed on schedule, variances are researched, root causes are identified, and corrective actions are implemented.

--Monitor inventory KPIs, aging, damaged or quarantined product, location accuracy, and recurring variance trends.

--Partner with Leadership, Quality, Finance, and Operations to resolve inventory discrepancies and protect material availability.

--People Leadership, Staffing & Accountability

--Lead, coach, and develop supervisors, leads, and hourly team members; establish clear expectations and reinforce standards consistently.

--Hold team members accountable for safety, attendance, quality, productivity, conduct, and adherence to established processes and SOPs.

--Manage staffing plans, shift coverage, work assignments, cross-training, overtime, and labor allocation based on workload and business priorities.
