The Job:
As a Trade Marketing Manager, you’ll be part of our Marketing team working as a hybrid employee.
You’ll get to:
- Develop and implement trade marketing strategies aligned with Stanley Black & Decker’s commercial priorities, growth plans, and brand objectives.
- Translate brand and business strategies into channel-specific activation plans, promotional programs, merchandising initiatives, and customer-facing campaigns.
- Partner with Sales and Key Account teams to support customer business planning, seasonal activations, product launches, and sell-out acceleration.
- Drive excellence in in-store and channel execution, including displays, planograms, point-of-sale materials, promotional assets, and visibility programs.
- Collaborate with Brand Marketing and Product teams to adapt campaigns and launches for effective execution across channels and customers.
- Support go-to-market planning for new products and portfolio initiatives across relevant retail, distributor, and omni-channel environments.
- Analyze sales trends, promotional effectiveness, customer performance, and market insights to identify opportunities and improve return on investment.
- Track and report key performance indicators such as sell-out, distribution, display compliance, promotional execution, and market share performance.
- Manage the Trade Marketing budget with discipline, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and measurable business impact.
- Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Category Management, and external agencies.
- Build strong relationships with customers, channel partners, and third-party vendors to ensure high-quality execution.
- Identify opportunities to improve shopper engagement, retail visibility, and channel effectiveness across Stanley Black & Decker brands.
- Promote continuous improvement and best practices in trade marketing execution.
Person:

- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Management, Commercial Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in Trade Marketing, Shopper Marketing, Channel Marketing, Sales, or related commercial roles.
- Experience working with retailers, distributors, and channel partners, preferably in tools, hardware, consumer durables, industrial, or related sectors.
- Strong knowledge of trade promotion, merchandising, channel strategy, and point-of-sale execution.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a matrixed, cross-functional organization.
- Experience managing budgets, agencies, and external execution partners.
- Strong analytical and business-planning capabilities.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI, SAP, Nielsen, Circana/IRI, or similar tools is preferred.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
