Within the Rakuten ecosystem, which boasts a membership base of tens of millions, you will design a loyalty program that integrates membership systems, points, and coupons. By leveraging insights derived from vast amounts of data to lead the entire process-from product UX design to the implementation and refinement of cross-group initiatives-you will directly drive changes in user behavior and business growth.

Position Details

Use customer data and insights to plan and drive loyalty programs combining membership, benefits and communications.


・Analyze member behavior, competitors and customer insights
・Design program concepts, user journeys and benefits
・Create experiences using gamification and personalization
・Define KPIs, run PoCs, measure impact and improve programs
・Lead cross-functional projects with Rakuten services, design, development and data teams

Work Environment

A compact, cross-functional team with expertise in strategy, marketing, UX, data and product drives group-wide initiatives.

Mandatory Qualifications:

・Experience in marketing, CRM, product or service planning for B2C services (Approximately 3 years or more).
・Experience translating customer insights into concepts, initiatives and KPIs.
・Experience planning and improving initiatives based on KPIs.
・Experience leading projects that involve multiple departments, such as development, design, and business divisions.
・Advanced business communication skills in Japanese.

Desired Qualifications:

・Experience in loyalty, membership programs, CRM, points or coupons.
・Experience in UX, service design or user research.
・Experience in gamification, personalization or brand activation.
・Experience with SQL, BI tools or web analytics.
・Planning or product management experience for large-scale web, app or platform businesses.
