Role overview
Your mission
As the right hand of our Logistics Manager, you are our on-site anchor in the Horw warehouse. You coordinate daily warehouse operations and make sure every physical step, from receiving to shipping, is done right and on time.
Besides the warehouse, you handle key logistics topics yourself and help our remote logistics team grow into their tasks. You take ownership and follow things through on your own, and together with the Logistics Manager you keep improving our processes.
Your tasks
Warehouse

Coordinate daily warehouse activities in Horw (receiving, testing flow, shipping) together with the Testing Operator and Logistics Assistant

Check incoming goods and post receipts in D365 the same day, including serial numbers; report damage, wrong labels or packaging

Handle the physical side of stock movements: transfers out of Horw, internal requests, supplier returns, relabeling and blocked stock

Carry out the inventory counts in Horw and clarify differences

Step in for packing and shipping when colleagues are absent
Logistics
- Monitor and resolve D365 interface and serial number errors with our EMS and 3PL partners

Follow up on 3PL and courier issues such as discrepancies, delays and lost shipments

Make sure shipments leaving Horw meet customs and export requirements
Processes & team
- Create and update work instructions, and train and support our remote logistics team on them
- Bring in ideas for improvement together with the Logistics Manager
Your profile
- Vocational training in logistics (e.g. Logistiker/in EFZ); further training is a plus

Several years of hands-on warehouse experience, ideally with export shipments, 3PL providers and couriers in an international company

Knowledge of customs and export processes is an advantage (e.g. Zollfachmann/-frau with federal diploma)

Confident user of ERP systems (D365 is an advantage) and MS Office
-
Reliable, well organized and independent: you take ownership and follow things through

Process-minded and happy to document how things work

Hands-on: you're happy to pack a parcel yourself

Fluent in German and English, spoken and written
