Selects, trains, develops, and motivates a staff of marketing specialists and assists in the administration of an annual operating expense and advertising/promotions budget. Determines the need for market research and other data analysis regarding customer profiles as they relate to specified marketing responsibilities. Identifies and analyzes opportunities in terms of potential profits and the impact on the company, current/potential customers, and competitors. Provides analysis and direction of marketing and sales efforts in a specified area, and develops appropriate timetables for these efforts. Develops and implements marketing action programs, including advertising and promotion, which allow the company to capitalize on areas of opportunity. Coordinates dates and other operational issues attendant to these marketing programs. Monitors the result of marketing programs and provides related reports to management. Analyzes pricing policy and volume forecasts for assigned areas of operation. Recommends appropriate alternation to such policies and forecasts when necessary. Develops timetables for analyzing opportunities implementing programs. Monitors all competitive activity in the marketplace and proposes changes to marketing/sales programs as appropriate. Identifies potential leverage service enhancements and develops programs for effectively marketing these enhancements to current and potential customers.
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Business Administration. Five (5) years-professional marketing or sales experience in a corporate environment of which four (4) years must be in marketing. International marketing or sales experience and knowledge of international customs regulations preferred. Fluency in English and local language required. Strong basic management, human relations, and communications skills required.
