About Nabla
We are a team of entrepreneurs, clinicians and engineers committed to bringing back joy to the practice of medicine.
Together with a community of clinician innovators, we’ve harnessed the best of machine learning science to develop Nabla: the leading AI assistant that’s restoring the human connection at the heart of healthcare. By streamlining clinical documentation, Nabla is helping clinicians focus on what matters most - patient care. Today, over 100,000+ clinicians across 130+ healthcare organizations trust Nabla to support how they deliver care every day.
We’re at the start of an ambitious journey: Ambient listening, dictation, coding, and command capabilities are all converging into a proactive assistant that intuitively streamlines clinical and financial workflows.
Backed by a recent $70M Series C, we’re hiring to build the next generation of clinical AI and improve the lives of clinicians and patients everywhere.
This is a great time to join us!
About the Role
The Lifecycle Marketing Manager will own and scale how Nabla communicates with clinicians across their entire journey from onboarding and activation through engagement and retention. The goal is a practitioner journey that is intentional, personalized, measurable.
Userpilot is in place, but everything around it still needs to be built: the activation and adoption strategy, in-app and email templates, segmentation, cohort analysis, the PMM/CSM/PM/Design process, and the campaign calendar. This is a hands-on, highly operational role. We need someone who lives in the tools, is data-driven, can test fast, structure the process, maintain the campaign stack, and turn usage insights into concrete actions.
Userpilot is the first step. Over time, this person will take ownership of the full communication stack across email, in-app, and other channels. The role works extremely closely with PMM, Design, PM, Data, and Product Ops.
Nabla serves two distinct audiences, and lifecycle programs must work for both:
Self-serve clinicians, who discover, activate, and adopt the product largely on their own. Here, automated email and in-app communication carries most of the relationship.
Mid-market and enterprise health systems, which are managed by CSMs. Here the human relationship leads, and automated communication must complement and be at the service of the CSMs arming them and reinforcing their work, never replacing or cutting across them.
This person designs each lifecycle so the right channel leads for each segment. On top of this, healthtech is a highly regulated industry with demanding clients: every communication must meet a high bar for accuracy, security, and professionalism, while still feeling personal and useful to busy clinicians.
Responsibilities
New Feature Launch Announcement & Activation
Own weekly in-app announcements for new feature launches, end to end and at a fast cadence
Design the in-app experience (placement, format, flow) for each launch
Validate wording with PMM, PM, and Design before shipping
Launch on time and coordinate across the relevant teams
Track performance (reach, engagement, adoption) for each announcement
Iterate quickly based on results to drive feature activation
Stay highly reactive to the product roadmap, turning new releases into clear, well-timed clinician communication
Lifecycle Strategy and Execution
Own and drive the full lifecycle marketing strategy across all stages (onboarding, activation, engagement, and retention), ensuring each stage of the practitioner journey is intentional, personalized, and measurable
Tailor segmentation, messaging, and cadence to the distinct needs and expectations of each segment:
For self-serve, build automated email and in-app programs that drive activation, adoption, and retention with minimal human touch
For mid-market and enterprise, build automated communication that complements and supports CSMs — giving them timing, context, and content rather than working around them
Direct & execute creative strategy for lifecycle channels, including briefing, reviewing, and optimizing copy and design to ensure brand consistency and message effectiveness
Build and maintain a clear campaign calendar across functions
Experimentation and Analytics
Lead a rigorous experimentation roadmap, including A/B and multivariate testing of messaging, creative, cadence, segmentation, and value propositions, to drive continuous performance improvement
Define and own lifecycle KPIs, building reporting frameworks and sharing regular performance insights with marketing and cross-functional leadership
Partner with Data and Analytics to develop audience segmentation strategies, leverage behavioral signals, and integrate AI-driven insights to enhance personalization at scale
Turn cohort and usage insights into concrete actions
Cross-functional Collaboration
Collaborate cross-functionally with PMM, Design, PM, Data, Product Ops, Clinical, and Brand teams to align lifecycle programs with broader business goals and the practitioner experience
Establish a clear, repeatable process between PMM, CSM, PM, and Design for planning and shipping campaigns
Ensure all lifecycle marketing programs are developed and executed in compliance with HIPAA and applicable federal and state laws, partnering with Legal and Compliance as needed
Operations and Tooling
Take ownership of the full communication stack, starting with Userpilot
Evaluate and manage lifecycle marketing technology partnerships, making recommendations for optimization and scaling of the tech stack
Build and maintain lifecycle process documentation, campaign playbooks, and training materials, publishing these on appropriate internal platforms
Leverage AI tools as a core part of daily work (drafting, research, iteration) to improve efficiency, quality, and decision-making
What We Are Looking For
5+ years of B2B lifecycle marketing experience, including hands-on ownership of email, in-app, and push channels
Deep expertise in lifecycle marketing strategy across the full funnel (onboarding, engagement, and retention)
Strong strategic and analytical thinking, with the ability to translate complex data into clear hypotheses, actionable insights, and business recommendations
Experience directing creative decisions for lifecycle channels, including copy strategy, creative briefing, and performance-based iteration
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills; ability to manage stakeholder expectations, influence without authority, and build alignment across diverse teams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting strategy and results to senior leadership
Demonstrated track record of building and scaling lifecycle programs that drive measurable growth across engagement and retention
Comfortable operating in a highly regulated, high-stakes industry (healthtech) with demanding clients, where accuracy, security, and compliance are non-negotiable
Nice to have:
Hands-on experience with Userpilot and HubSpot
Familiarity with reporting and analytics tools such as Looker, Tableau, Amplitude, or similar
Experience in a regulated industry: healthcare, behavioral health, or health-adjacent
Experience with AI-powered personalization, segmentation tools, or machine-learning-informed campaign optimization
