About Nabla

We are a team of entrepreneurs, clinicians and engineers committed to bringing back joy to the practice of medicine.

Together with a community of clinician innovators, we’ve harnessed the best of machine learning science to develop Nabla: the leading AI assistant that’s restoring the human connection at the heart of healthcare. By streamlining clinical documentation, Nabla is helping clinicians focus on what matters most - patient care. Today, over 100,000+ clinicians across 130+ healthcare organizations trust Nabla to support how they deliver care every day.

We’re at the start of an ambitious journey: Ambient listening, dictation, coding, and command capabilities are all converging into a proactive assistant that intuitively streamlines clinical and financial workflows.

Backed by a recent $70M Series C, we’re hiring to build the next generation of clinical AI and improve the lives of clinicians and patients everywhere.

This is a great time to join us!

About the Role

The Product Marketing Manager will own how Nabla positions, launches, and drives adoption of the product with clinicians across their entire journey — from onboarding and activation through engagement and retention.

This is product marketing where the message ships directly to the user. You own the narrative for every new feature launch, then own the in-app and email programs that turn that narrative into activation.

You'll define the segmentation, write the positioning, ship the campaigns, and measure whether they actually moved adoption.

Userpilot is in place, but everything around it still needs to be built: the activation and adoption strategy, in-app and email templates, segmentation, cohort analysis, the process with Product Marketing peers, CSM, PM, and Design, and the campaign calendar.

This is a hands-on, highly operational PMM role. We need someone who lives in the tools, is data-driven, can test fast, structure the process, and turn usage insights into concrete positioning and messaging decisions.

Userpilot is the first step. Over time, this person will take ownership of the full communication stack across email, in-app, and other channels. The role works extremely closely with Product Marketing peers, Design, PM, Data, and Product Ops.

Nabla serves two distinct audiences, and lifecycle programs must work for both:

  • Self-serve clinicians, who discover, activate, and adopt the product largely on their own. Here, automated email and in-app communication carries most of the relationship — your messaging is the go-to-market motion.

  • Mid-market and enterprise health systems, managed by CSMs. Here the human relationship leads, and your programs must arm and reinforce the CSM — giving them timing, context, and content, never working around them.

You'll design each lifecycle so the right channel leads for each segment. On top of this, healthtech is a highly regulated industry with demanding clients: every communication must meet a high bar for accuracy, security, and professionalism, while still feeling personal and useful to busy clinicians.

Responsibilities

Feature Launch Positioning & Activation

  • Own weekly in-app launch communication for new features, end to end and at a fast cadence

  • Define the positioning and messaging for each release — what it is, why a clinician should care, what changes in their day

  • Design the in-app experience (placement, format, flow) for each launch

  • Validate messaging with Product Marketing peers, PM, and Design before shipping

  • Launch on time and coordinate across the relevant teams

  • Track performance (reach, engagement, adoption) for every launch and iterate quickly on results

  • Stay highly reactive to the product roadmap, turning new releases into clear, well-timed clinician communication

Lifecycle Strategy and Execution

  • Own the full lifecycle strategy across onboarding, activation, engagement, and retention, ensuring each stage of the practitioner journey is intentional, personalized, and measurable

  • Tailor segmentation, messaging, and cadence to the distinct needs of each segment:

    • For self-serve, build automated email and in-app programs that drive activation, adoption, and retention with minimal human touch

    • For mid-market and enterprise, build programs that complement and support CSMs

  • Direct and execute creative strategy for lifecycle channels — briefing, reviewing, and optimizing copy and design for brand consistency and message effectiveness

  • Build and maintain a clear campaign calendar across functions

Experimentation and Analytics

  • Lead a rigorous experimentation roadmap: A/B and multivariate testing of messaging, creative, cadence, segmentation, and value propositions

  • Define and own lifecycle KPIs, building reporting frameworks and sharing regular performance insights with marketing and cross-functional leadership

  • Partner with Data and Analytics on audience segmentation, behavioral signals, and AI-driven insights to enhance personalization at scale

  • Turn cohort and usage insights into concrete messaging and product-marketing actions

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Product Marketing peers, Design, PM, Data, Product Ops, Clinical, and Brand to align lifecycle programs with broader business goals and the practitioner experience

  • Establish a clear, repeatable process across Product Marketing, CSM, PM, and Design for planning and shipping campaigns

  • Ensure all programs are developed and executed in compliance with HIPAA and applicable federal and state laws, partnering with Legal and Compliance as needed

Operations and Tooling

  • Take ownership of the full communication stack, starting with Userpilot

  • Evaluate and manage lifecycle marketing technology partnerships, recommending optimizations as we scale

  • Build and maintain process documentation, campaign playbooks, and training materials on internal platforms

  • Leverage AI tools as a core part of daily work (drafting, research, iteration) to improve efficiency, quality, and decision-making

What We Are Looking For

  • 3-5 years in B2B product marketing, lifecycle marketing, or product-led growth marketing, including hands-on ownership of in-app channels

  • Proven ability to craft positioning and messaging for product launches and to ship it yourself, not hand it off

  • Deep expertise across the full post-signup funnel (onboarding, activation, engagement, retention)

  • Strong Product DNA, with sharp attention to user workflows and the details that shape the product experience

  • Strong strategic and analytical thinking, with the ability to translate complex data into clear hypotheses, actionable insights, and business recommendations

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills; ability to manage stakeholder expectations, influence without authority, and build alignment across diverse teams

  • Track record of building and scaling programs that drove measurable growth in adoption, engagement, and retention

  • Comfortable in a highly regulated, high-stakes industry (healthtech) with demanding clients, where accuracy, security, and compliance are non-negotiable

Nice to have:

  • Hands-on experience with Userpilot and HubSpot

  • Familiarity with Looker, Tableau, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or similar

  • Experience in a regulated industry: healthcare, behavioral health, or health-adjacent

  • Experience with AI-powered personalization, segmentation tools, or ML-informed campaign optimization

  • Experience marketing to a professional or clinical end user
