Legal & Regulatory Regional Lead:

Description:

Legal & Regulatory (L&R) team is looking for a motivated, seasoned and experienced individual to play a critical role in managing re-screening and onboarding process transformation and automations. In addition, the Lead plays a pivotal role in planning & implementation of transformational changes in close collaboration with ECO, L&R Management, Business Teams and stakeholders across organisation.

This role requires the individual to exhibit unique mastery and recognized authority on relevant subject matter knowledge including technologies, theories and techniques. Contributes to the development of innovative principles and ideas. Provides highly innovative solutions. Leads large, cross-division functional teams or projects that drives the L&R organization’s long-term goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Advanced knowledge and subject matter expertise on HP L&R processes, industry trends, and partner requirements
• Own the end-to-end Analytics/Automation roadmap, defining frameworks, experimentation standards, and high-impact product solutions
• Design algorithms, build data driven applications to translate data into insights, and develop solutions for solving business problems.
• Partner closely with engineering, product management, and business teams to identify opportunities where data and AI can create competitive advantages
• Apply a structured approach to facilitate problem solving, identify root causes, and guide stakeholders to make informed decisions.
• Defines and implements models to uncover patterns and predictions creating business value and innovation
• Design and optimize data collection, transformation, and analytics pipelines to support scalable and reliable decision making
• Champions project management disciplines and provides the processes, structures, and tools for individual project management and program management across the transformation.
• Collaborate with Process Owners, Managers and Leads to gather business requirements, supporting the design of new or improved processes.
• Provides a governance structure. The role ensures accountability and enables the predictability of the outcomes of each transformation initiative.
• Build and maintain effective partnerships with key cross functional leaders, change sponsors, and project team members.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Extensive Experience in Process Management and Improvement, Business Transformation and/or Organizational Change Management
• Expertise in structured and unstructured data, its management, and modern data transformation methodologies.
• Able to demonstrate awareness of business and organizational sensitivities and reflect this in approaches to resolving issues and problem solving.
• Effectively and creatively tell stories and create visualizations to describe and communicate data insights.
• Able to translate complex, ambiguous challenges into workable solutions for the functional team
• Exposure to tools like Python, R, and SQL and visualization tools such as Power BI/ThoughtSpot would be preferable
• Strong leadership skills, including coaching, team- building, conflict resolution, and management, especially where team members are not direct reports
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence and align senior executives in an objective manner using fact-based analysis methods
• Tenacious, results-driven and detail-oriented while moving quickly to support urgent requests and independently managing complex project objectives
• Superior analytical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills

Education & Experience:

• 8+ years of post-advanced degree professional experience. Advanced university degree required (e.g., MBA) or demonstrable equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of related experience in IT/business operations.
• 3+ years of project management experience.
