Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive functional and technical delivery of key team and org-wide programs/initiatives. Partner with Engineering Managers, Product Managers and other cross functional partners to define, scope, and drive large programs to conclusion.

  • Own the team-level portfolio; maintaining a single source of truth for commitments, capacity, dependencies, and status across all active lines of work.

  • Serve as the primary interface between the product team and engineering teams, translating business commitments (contracts, growth targets, customer deployments) into engineering capacity plans and surfacing tradeoffs before they become misses.

  • Design, implement, and maintain the dashboards, cadences, KPIS, and reporting frameworks to achieve goals with well-defined success criteria & give senior leadership clear, accurate visibility into portfolio health without noise. Leverage data and acquired knowledge to drive strategic decisions at an engineering leadership level.

  • Partner with engineering leads across Hardware, Platform/Cloud, and Eng Ops to maintain a real-time view of capacity versus committed demand, and drive prioritization decisions when they conflict.

  • Drive end-to-end delivery of strategic programs that span multiple engineering pillars and business functions, including customer-facing deployments, new product launches, and operational scaling initiatives.

  • Create and communicate widely circulated plans, driving consistency, clarity and building alignment across teams. Help influence peers / leaders and build consensus while dealing with ambiguity.

  • 7+ years of program or project management experience in a software/AI engineering, hardware software integration or infrastructure environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage large, complex programs spanning multiple engineering teams with competing priorities.

  • Strong technical background — you don't need to write production code, but you must be able to engage deeply with engineers on technical tradeoffs, architecture decisions, and delivery constraints.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication; proven ability to tailor message and level of detail to the audience.

  • Experience working in agile/scrum environments; comfortable with Jira, Confluence, and similar tools.

  • Proven track record of operating effectively in matrixed organizations with distributed, cross-functional teams.

  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), container orchestration (Kubernetes), or GitOps (ArgoCD).

  • Experience driving AI, DevEx, developer productivity, or internal platform initiatives.

Preferred Skills:

  • Background in building internal platform-as-a-product programs or developer self-service tooling.

  • Experience partnering with hardware engineering teams — familiarity with NPD (New Product Development) processes, hardware-software integration, or embedded systems in connected/IoT products.

  • Experience in IoT, connected home, or cloud-native platform engineering environments is a plus
