This role plays a critical part in Wolfspeed’s mission to scale world-class silicon carbide technology safely, reliably, and sustainably. In your role as an IT and OpEx Controller, you will support Wolfspeed’s Corporate FP&A organization, partnering directly with IT and business leaders to drive budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and operational performance. This high-visibility role provides financial insights and analysis that support strategic decision-making while helping to improve processes, enhance financial controls, and drive business performance across a fast-paced, multinational technology company.

Key Responsibilities

• Support IT and wider leadership teams through annual budgeting and periodic forecast cycles
• Manage the month end process from preparing journals, tracking and analysis of expenses against forecast and budget
• Validate vendor invoices and purchase requisitions, ensure accurate cost allocation and coding, and support month-end accruals and close activities
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies and financial procedures.
• Conduct ad hoc analysis and create executive-level presentations for various Senior Leadership Team meetings
• Support additional consolidations for the organization including, monthly, quarterly and annual reviews
• Establish review cadence with key budget owners and build relationships with the aim of enhancing department processes and output quality
• Identify strategic opportunities to improve the Company’s operational and financial performance, provide analysis to support those recommendations, and work to implement necessary changes to achieve success
• Opportunities will exist to support other assigned tasks in other areas as business needs change

Required Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in Finance or Accounting
• 6+ years of experience in Accounting and/or Finance roles
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
• Collaborative problem-solver
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Proactive mindset with a continuous improvement approach
• Power BI experience preferred
• Experience in Overhead cost management for a Global Company preferred
• Experience in IT cost management desirable
• Experience semiconductor industry or a manufacturing environment
