What can you expect:

This is a hands-on role focused on developing your sales career with Marsh Investments. The successful candidate will prepare prospect-facing materials, maintain pipeline accuracy and CRM hygiene, support the delivery of pitches and events, and help the team convert opportunities. This is an excellent role for someone looking to build their sales experience and develop their career within the Marsh Ireland sales team. The chosen candidate will be expected to support the Irish Sales Leader to lead and drive sales activity via internal and external distribution channels.

We will rely on you to:

• Produce and update high-quality PowerPoint presentations, pitch decks and supporting materials, ensuring consistency with our brand and messaging.
• Draft and proofread written materials for meetings (executive summaries, proposals, agendas and meeting notes) with strong attention to detail.
• Support the sales pipeline: update CRM records, track opportunity stages, prepare weekly reports and help prioritise next actions.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders (investment, legal, operations, product teams) to pull together materials and responses for pitches and RFPs.
• Support prospect meetings and pitches (in-person and virtual) — manage logistics, take notes and follow up on actions.
• Assist with event planning (industry conferences, client roundtables, webinars) to support lead generation.
• Carry out targeted research to identify potential prospects and prepare concise briefing notes for the sales team.
• Manage projects and ad-hoc business development tasks as required, ensuring deadlines are met.

What you will need to have:

• Strong PowerPoint skills and an eye for clean, professional presentation design.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to draft clear, client-ready documents.
• High attention to detail and accuracy — strong proofreading and quality-checking habits.
• Organised and capable of managing multiple tasks with good time management.
• Practical, driven and resilient — willing to do the groundwork and follow through on actions.
• Comfortable working with colleagues across functions and levels; good interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and comfortable using CRM systems; quick to learn new tools.

What makes you stand out:

• Some exposure to sales support, business development, client services or operations.
• Basic understanding of investment markets, pensions or asset management.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent.
