WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US 

SimCorp Education Services is looking for someone with hands-on investment and/or fund accounting experience ie NAV, reconciliation, fund administration, or general ledger, to help us create e-learning courses for our clients. You don't need to possess any previous experience in content creation or e-learning development - we'll teach you this! What we need is your real-world accounting knowledge and willingness to learn how to develop training that makes real difference!

This is a training content creation role, not a training delivery role, meaning you will not be teaching - we have a dedicated trainers’ team that handles the actual teaching. Your job will be to translate complex accounting and fund administration workflows into clear, accurate, and practical learning content, including system exercises, that our trainer team and clients will rely on.

This is a great fit for someone currently working in investment and/or fund accounting operations (e.g. at a custodian bank, fund administrator, or asset manager) who wants to move into a role focused on knowledge sharing and training content creation rather than day-to-day processing.

Key responsibilities

•           Design, develop, and continuously improve learning content within the investment accounting (ABOR) domain

•           Translate real accounting and fund administration processes into structured learning content and practical system-based exercises

•           Configure training environments to support practical, hands-on exercises within the content

•           Collaborate with product teams, trainers, and subject matter experts to ensure content is accurate and relevant

•           Work with a content designer who will turn your material into polished, professional-looking courses - you focus on the accounting content, not the design

•           Maintain a scalable, well-organized content library aligned with content strategy

Required experience & skills

•           Extensive experience with investment accounting software, including practical knowledge of financial accounting, fund accounting, portfolio and fund administration, and general ledger processes

•           Ability to translate complex accounting concepts into clear, structured, and engaging learning content

•           Interest in instructional design and digital learning development - experience is a plus but not required, we provide full training

•           High attention to detail with a clear emphasis on quality

•           Proficient in English communication, both spoken and written

•           Proficient at coordinating with different teams in a high-demand, changing workplace

What you don't need

•           No instructional design or e-learning experience required as full training provided

•           No content design skills needed - we have a dedicated content designer for that

•           No training delivery involved - our trainer team owns that part

Nice to have

•           Master's degree or PhD in Finance or a related field

•           Familiarity with e-learning tools (e.g. Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate)
