[What the role is]
The intern will support the day-to-day administrative and operational needs of the Course and Interest Group Development team, including maintaining course records and trainer databases, coordinating with partners and stakeholders, assisting in the planning and execution of community events and outreach activities at CCs/RCs/RNs/NCs, and creating social media content to promote courses. The intern will also serve as the key operational support and point of contact during the Manager's absence to ensure continuity of course administration and stakeholder communications.[What you will be working on]
- Maintain and update course records, trainer databases, and related administrative documentation.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to support course administration and operational matters.
- Assist in the planning, organisation, and execution of community events, outreach programmes, and engagement activities at Community Clubs (CCs), Residents' Committees/Residents' Networks (RCs/RNs), and Neighbourhood Committees (NCs).
- Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and other programme-related materials.
- Create and curate social media content and promotional materials to support course marketing and outreach efforts.
- Monitor enquiries and support stakeholder communications to ensure timely follow-up and service delivery.
- Provide operational and administrative support to ensure continuity of work during periods of staff absence.
- Perform any other duties or projects assigned by the supervisor.
[What we are looking for]
- Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Public Administration, Social Sciences, Event Management, or a related field.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with social media platforms and basic content creation tools is an advantage.
- Resourceful, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Interest in community engagement, programme administration, and stakeholder management.
