Über diese Integration Engineer, Manufacturing Systems Stelle bei General Matter
About the Company
General Matter is enriching uranium in America.
Our goal is to design, build, and operate the world’s lowest-cost enrichment services in the United States.
Our mission is to restore America’s ability to produce nuclear fuel—fuel that will power AI, advanced manufacturing, critical industries, and the next generation of nuclear reactors.
Ultimately, our work will help power national ambitions and enable a high-energy society.
We were incubated by Founders Fund, like Anduril and Palantir before us, and are backed by top-tier investors. Our lean, world-class team of engineers and operators is applying a first-principles approach to solving the problem of nuclear fuel production.
We are a mission-driven company with a culture of urgency, accountability, and transparency.
Help us build a high-energy society by making the cleanest, safest form of baseload energy the most affordable.
About This Role
As an Integration Engineer, Manufacturing Systems, you will own the portfolio of integrations that connect our manufacturing, engineering, and enterprise systems across MES, WMS, QMS, PLM/PDM, and ERP. Reporting to the Enterprise Systems Manager, you will implement the architecture defined by the Enterprise Systems Architect and ensure reliable, secure movement of product, engineering, and manufacturing data across the shop floor and the wider business.
Your first project is the PLM/PDM to MES pipeline for released parts and bills of materials, which you will own and extend. From there you will build and own integrations and data-migration work across MES, WMS, QMS, and ERP as our enterprise systems program matures. This is a hands-on role spanning C#/.NET development, REST APIs, data mapping, and production support in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
Responsibilities
- Build, own, and operate integrations across the manufacturing and enterprise landscape, including MES, WMS, QMS, PLM/PDM, and ERP, as the systems landscape grows.
- Own and extend the PLM/PDM to MES pipeline, including released-part master data, bills of materials, and engineering files, as the program’s first integration.
- Develop and maintain API integrations and add-ins in C#/.NET against enterprise-system REST APIs, including notification and alerting workflows.
- Implement production-grade monitoring, alerting, logging, retry, reconciliation, and exception handling, and maintain data mappings, interface specifications, and source-to-target documentation.
- Enforce the controlled versus uncontrolled data boundary, partner with Security and IT on authentication, authorization, encryption, secrets management, and access controls, and maintain CI/CD and versioning.
- Own data migration from legacy finance and other systems as the ERP program moves to implementation, including extraction, mapping, cleansing, validation, and cutover, and troubleshoot integration failures and data discrepancies to root cause.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years in systems integration, software development, or enterprise or manufacturing systems engineering.
- Hands-on experience building and supporting production integrations across enterprise systems using REST APIs, SDKs, and custom services.
- Software development experience in C#/.NET, or strong proficiency in a comparable language such as Python, Java, or C++ with the ability to work in C#/.NET.
- Strong understanding of APIs, data mapping, and integration patterns, including authentication, error handling, retries, and reconciliation, with strong SQL and data-modeling fundamentals.
- Experience with source control and CI/CD such as Git and modern CI/CD pipelines, disciplined release practices, and the ability to distinguish controlled from uncontrolled data environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience integrating engineering, manufacturing, and enterprise systems such as PLM/PDM, MES, CAD, WMS, QMS, ERP, CRM, or HRIS, including ERP platforms such as Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, or Epicor.
- Experience with PLM/PDM APIs and task add-ins, or other CAD/PLM integration development.
- Experience integrating or administering an MES, QMS, or WMS platform.
- Familiarity with engineering data formats and transmittals such as STEP, drawings, and bill-of-materials structures, and with label-printing or barcode systems.
- Experience with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Databricks, and migrating data across enterprise systems, including from legacy finance systems.
- Experience in regulated industries such as aerospace, defense, energy, medical device, automotive, or nuclear, and familiarity with data governance and compliance frameworks such as SOX, SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, or NQA-1.
- Experience with cloud services such as AWS including GovCloud, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Additional Requirements
- Based in Los Angeles, CA, and onsite full-time; hybrid and remote work will not be considered.
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends as necessary.
