About the Role
We’re hiring a Growth Lead, Performance to build and scale the acquisition engine that powers Avoca’s next stage of growth.
Your initial focus will be building and scaling our paid acquisition channels, starting with paid social and paid search, into meaningful sources of qualified pipeline. You’ll own these channels end to end: from strategy and execution to creative testing, conversion, measurement, and optimization.
But your mandate won’t stop at paid acquisition. We’re looking for a growth builder with broad demand generation instincts who can identify new opportunities, build channels from scratch, and turn what works into repeatable engines. You’re equally comfortable setting strategy and getting into the details of a campaign, creative concept, landing page, or experiment.
The scope is wide and the whitespace is real. We’re looking for a smart, high-agency person who builds their own leverage. You’ll report directly to the Head of Growth and work on the company’s highest-priority channels and growth bets.
What You'll Do
Build and scale paid social and paid search into major revenue drivers for our business
Own paid acquisition end to end, including strategy, execution, budget allocation, creative testing, conversion, measurement, and optimization
Build a high-velocity experimentation engine across audiences, messaging, creative, offers, and landing pages
Translate customer insights and performance data into campaigns that resonate with home services operators and drive qualified pipeline
Set performance targets and allocate investment based on pipeline, CAC, channel efficiency, and revenue
Partner closely with Sales, RevOps, Product Marketing to ensure a tight feedback loop on ICPs, lead quality, SLAs and pipeline handoff process
Use AI and automation to increase the speed and quality of campaign development, analysis, and experimentation
Identify, test, and scale growth channels beyond paid acquisition, turning the most promising opportunities into repeatable growth engines
What You’ll Bring
5+ years of experience in performance marketing, growth marketing, or demand generation, ideally at a fast-growing B2B technology company
A strong track record of personally building and scaling paid social programs, with deep expertise in Meta
Strong paid search experience and fluency across the acquisition funnel, from media and creative through conversion and measurement
Experience owning meaningful budgets and making investment decisions based on pipeline quality, marginal efficiency, and growth potential
A history of managing toward qualified pipeline and revenue, not just leads, clicks, or platform-reported conversions
Strong analytical and creative instincts, with the ability to turn customer insight and performance data into clear hypotheses and compelling campaigns
Broad growth experience and the ability to build, test, and scale channels beyond paid media
Fluency with AI tools and a bias toward using automation to increase your output and learning velocity
Who You Are
You’re a builder who wants to own both the work and the outcome, from setting the strategy to launching and optimizing the campaign
You have deep performance marketing expertise, but you don’t define yourself solely by paid media — you’re energized by finding and building whatever channel can move the number
You think in terms of qualified pipeline, CAC, and revenue while caring deeply about the details that drive them
You combine analytical rigor with strong creative judgment and understand that the message and offer matter as much as the media plan
You move quickly, run disciplined experiments, and make clear decisions even when the data is imperfect
You create clarity in ambiguous situations and don’t need an established playbook, a large team, or perfect information to make progress
You’re curious, resourceful, and willing to roll up your sleeves — no task is too small when it helps move the company forward
You want to work in person in NYC with an ambitious team that moves quickly and holds a high bar
Bonus Points
Experience marketing to mid-market buyers in a high-velocity sales motion
Experience in vertical SaaS or home services
A track record of building new growth channels from zero and scaling into meaningful sources of pipeline
Benefits
Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance
Company-sponsored 401(k) through Vestwell
Flexible PTO plus U.S. federal holidays
Company-wide off-sites
Daily in-office lunch through Parkday
Dinner covered when working late
Commuter benefits and late-night rideshare
Standing desks and workspace accommodations available on request
All core tools and software provided
