What will you do as a Global Talent Manager?

As a Global Talent Manager you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive talent processes to support the succession planning, growth and retention of employees. This role focuses on increasing overall organizational effectiveness of the talent management cycles through strategic initiatives, including talent reviews, succession planning, etc.

What do we expect from you as a Global Talent Manager?

• A Master’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology or relevant field
• Ideally 3 - 5 years of work experience in the HR/HRD field
• Experience with talent data analysis - Workday experience is a preference
• A strong interest in people and organizational development 
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Outstanding project management and organizational skills 

What does your day look like?
 

As Global Talent Manager, you will be a part of the Global Talent & Development team and you develop and implement talent management cycles and programs concerning our talent pools aligned with organizational goals and objectives. On a daily basis you will connect to the Global Vopak network: our HR colleagues in the 9 Business Units.

Your core responsibilities are:

• Identify and develop future talents/leaders through targeted programs and solid datasets
• Create succession plans (incl. dashboards) for key positions within the organization
• Implement and apply talent assessment tools to evaluate potential
• Optimize talent to value
• Work with senior HR leaders to regularly review and update succession plans
• Prepare group overviews and plot to Success Profiles
• Actively monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of talent management cycle (e.g. promotion rates, diversity, etc)
• Design and implement other related projects within the Global HR
