Role Description

• Deutsche Bank’s emerging markets business offers a fully-integrated and global product platform. With unrivalled breadth and superior execution capabilities, we are dedicated to making markets and providing client solutions in a wide range of EM products. Our product range includes external debt and Credit Default Swaps (CDS), FX, rates, options and the more complex cross-market derivatives covering multiple EM jurisdictions

• The Asia Local Markets Linear Trading business is spread across 10 geographical locations and encompasses the full suite of ALM products – from vanilla cash bonds to FX to bespoke structured products. We serve a variety of institutional and corporate clients not only in Asia but also via our presence across key trading centers like London and NY. At DB CIB Centre, we adopt a global focus for all our Asian clients and this spans various job profiles like Structuring, Portfolio Management, Quantitative Analytics, Platforms, Sales & Trading Enablement and Risk.

Your key responsibilities

• Pricing various FX/Rates products including FX Forwards, NDFs, FX Swaps, IRS and CCS for multiple currencies

• Managing, analyzing and reporting risk positions, P&L and sales markups of  APAC Trading  desks

• Build tools to monitor risk and conduct deep historical and scenario analysis on relevant marketdata

• Develop models to efficiently hedge NDF fixing exposures internally across regions

• Analyze trade data and client flows for efficient pricing and to increase DB’s penetration

• Work in tandem with ABFX and Business Intelligence teams to help build out the FIC APAC platform

• Monitor desk positions and market data to identify opportunities to monetize trading axes

• Understand regulations and restrictions in Asian markets to effectively identify cross border trade opportunities

• Monitor Market Liquidity changes  to recognize stress for intelligent market behavior synthesis

Your skills and experience

• Strong communication and presentation ability to cater to global audience with attention to detail

• Willingness to think out of the box for identifying opportunities and a solution based approach to problem solving

• Proactive  approach  to delivery - minimal supervision ultimately targeted at taking  complete ownership of work and projects

• Ability to work and learn in a multi-dimensional team to cross fertilize ideas across asset classes and derivatives

• Desire to cultivate a thinking that “connects the dots” between real world economics and the financial marketplace

• Be comfortable in travelling and working with a multi-cultural audience across multiple time zones

Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
