Job Description:

- Key Responsibilities:

• Product Promotion & Hardware System Enablement: Actively promote Ethernet switch silicon and reference designs across target accounts through technical presentations and competitive benchmarking to secure design-in wins & Deliver support for customer switch board development, guiding hardware teams through schematics/layout reviews, high-speed SerDes signal integrity, optical/copper link budgets, power/thermal constraints, and Top-of-Rack switch integration
• Customer Architecture & Design-In: Work directly with customer hardware and software architects to evaluate network requirements, propose optimal switch topologies, and drive design-in qualification for high-radix Ethernet switch
• Fabric Optimization, SW Integration & System Debugging: Deliver hands-on technical consultation across software, fabric, and bring-up layers
• Cross-Division Technical Alignment: Collaborate closely with internal architecture and product management divisions to convey regional technical requirements and resolve escalations

- Qualifications & Key Requirements:

 
  . Education & Experience

• Education: BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline
• Experience: At least 5 years of technical experience in Ethernet switch silicon support, semiconductor field applications engineering, board bring-up, or network systems validation within AI, HPC, or data center networking domains

  . Technical Capabilities

• Ethernet Switch Architecture: In-depth understanding of switch ASIC pipelines
• Networking & Scale-Out Protocols: Solid foundation in L2/L3 Ethernet switching, BGP, and RoCEv2. Familiarity with emerging UEC and ESUN frameworks
• PCIe & Host Interconnects: Working knowledge of PCIe architecture, PCIe switches, and host-to-switch/NIC interface interactions
• Scale-Up vs. Scale-Out: Clear understanding of bandwidth, latency, and protocol tradeoffs between intra-rack Scale-Up links and inter-rack Scale-Out Ethernet switch fabrics
• Hands-On Diagnostic & SDK Skills:
  • Hands-on experience with switch SDK APIs, Linux networking tools, and packet analyzers
  • Basic scripting capabilities in Python for diagnostic automation, SDK register access, and log parsing

- Language & Communication Requirements:

• English Proficiency: Fluent written and spoken English is required. Must be comfortable leading technical design reviews, presenting switch silicon roadmaps, and collaborating daily across global engineering divisions in English
