SchooLinks is looking for a passionate Event Coordinator to join its rapidly growing Marketing team. You will report to the VP of Marketing, and collaborate on event strategy and own the execution from small district events, to some of the largest conferences in the country.
Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for generating ROI from our event spend
- Event management for all field initiatives including, but not limited to, trade shows, Lunch and Learns, customer facing events, webinars, conferences, round tables, dinners, company events, etc.
- Travel to 3-5 events each quarter to ensure logistics and keep up with market trends
- Manage logistics for our events and tradeshows including pre and post event marketing, event registration, inventory of company swag, shipping and logistics, and lead capture
- Execute on strong event communications including event landing pages, pre-and post-event follow up, social, etc.
- Work directly with sales to support territory planning and marketing alignment within region or team
- Work closely with Demand Gen and Sales Enablement teams to ensure events are optimized for reporting and KPIs
- Create event project plans, conduct regular checkpoints with deliverable owners, identify risks and challenges appropriately. and ensure events are delivered on time and on budget
- Measuring both tangibles (e.g. cost, opportunities created, ROI, etc.) as well as intangibles (e.g. experiences, relationships created, etc.) at all our events
- Exceed key quarterly metrics goals and track program results, measuring program success, and reporting metrics
- Track lead flow to ensure the appropriate Sales channels are following up with event attendees and campaign responders in a timely manner
As an early member of the SchooLinks marketing team, you’ll need to balance strategy with an ability and willingness to get into the details. We are looking for someone who will constantly be looking to improve and is biased toward action
The ideal candidate is also
- Detail-oriented execution-focused, bringing a passion for great execution to the company
- Hands-on - you will be joining a small team that is out to build something big. Prior startup experience is a plus.
- Organized- you will be managing multiple priorities, and it’s important you can manage the needs and deadlines of them all
- Creative- you are able to come up with plans A,B,C and even M if needed, and are flexible enough to change course when needed.
- Data driven - ability to articulate what our data signals are saying about our business, and the ability to implement changes based on what the data is telling us
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of events logistics and execution experience (SaaS strongly preferred)
- Ability to collaborate cross functionally with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience with logistically complex in-person and virtual events
- Capacity to set correct expectations and manage issues to completion

A reasonable estimate of the on track earnings range for this position is $77,000 - $88,000 USD. This compensation range is specific to the United States and it incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; specific geographic location; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
