AHOY Playbooks supports the AHOY ecosystem through strategic decks and proposals that can be used by the pre-sales, sales, commercials, tech, and product teams, all laid out in the form of the right story.  

Key Responsibilities:  

We know in the age of AI, lots of corners can be cut. But AI output will only be as good as what you enter a.k.a you still need to know the basics in this field. As the Epic Designer, you will be responsible for: 

• Presentation Design (PowerPoint): Build highly tailored presentation decks, master templates, and component systems for high-stake pitches, keynotes, and internal strategies. Translate complex financial or technical data into clear, visual storytelling 

• No-Code Web Development (Framer): Design, build, and publish fully responsive landing pages natively in Framer. Create reusable design tokens, flexible layouts, and custom web animations/micro-interactions (if needed) 

• Document & Proposal Layout: Own the graphic design and typography architecture for multi-page document proposals (RFPs) blueprints, business case summaries, whitepapers, and reports, ensuring exceptional readability 

• Brand Strategy & Identity: Maintain, scale, and safeguard our corporate brand guidelines. Design supporting visual assets including custom iconography, asset libraries, and marketing collateral (if needed) 

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with marketing, sales, and executive teams to transform raw copy and conceptual briefs into polished, narrative-driven visual assets 

Requirements

Core Skills Required:  

• Proven Experience: 8+ years of professional experience as a visual, brand, presentation, or multidisciplinary designer. History of Tech brands is preferred 

• Advanced Tool Proficiencies: Mastery of Microsoft PowerPoint (advanced layouts, animations, masters), Framer (CMS setup, component states, native animations), and Adobe Creative Suite or Figma. Being smart enough to use Claude Design or other AI design LLM is a helpful bit of information to have too 

• Typography & Layout Skills: A flawless eye for editorial typography, information hierarchy, grid structures, and multi-page document design 

• Data Visualization: Strong ability to transform complex charts, tables, and numeric data into striking, easy-to-understand visual diagrams 

• Team player: Know how to work with a team and not isolate yourself. Nothing good comes out of working in a silo 

• Communication skills: Be confident enough to communicate what you’re thinking, and be sharp enough to read what is being given to you in case a better visualized idea can be pitched. Don’t be a copy-paster 

• Portfolio: A comprehensive portfolio demonstrating live Framer sites, beautiful presentation decks, structured document layouts, and unified branding work. Redact client names to match NDAs agreements, if needed
