The trainee will support high-voltage GIS substation and synchronous condenser projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia while developing technical, coordination, and project execution skills.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Support engineering activities and deliverables in line with project requirements, technical specifications, applicable standards, and safety expectations.
- Assist with layouts, schematics, technical documents, bills of quantities, customer submissions, and follow-up of open engineering actions.
- Work with multidisciplinary engineering teams and support coordination with customers, suppliers, site teams, and project stakeholders.
- Participate in technical meetings, design reviews, clarification sessions, training, and site visits with guidance from experienced engineers.
- Contribute to quality, EHS awareness, Lean, and continuous improvement activities by sharing observations, lessons learned, and improvement ideas.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Fresh graduate or early-career professional with up to 2 years of relevant experience.
- Interest in substations, power systems, GIS, rotating machines, power plants, FACTS, or related infrastructure projects.
- Curiosity, willingness to learn, and ability to work effectively in a multicultural project environment.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Ability to live and work in Riyadh and travel within Saudi Arabia as needed.
- The legal right to work in KSA without company sponsorship or time restriction.
