Program Summary 
KBR sustains the operational well-being of U.S. armed forces at Djibouti, Africa, Camp Lemonnier Naval Base. Our services encompass program management, contingency and expeditionary, asset management and recreation support, postal operations, safety services, logistics, and more. KBR ensures the base operates smoothly, allowing deployed personnel to focus on mission execution. 
Job Summary 
Leads and manages assigned fire and emergency services personnel during both emergency and non-emergency 
situations.  Responds to and serves as crew leader or incident commander at emergencies including structural, aircraft, 
HazMat/CBRNE, rescue, medical and other incidents as directed 
Roles and Responsibilities  
• Responsible for the operational readiness of assigned personnel and equipment, supervises assigned personnel during activities such as training, work details, crew-level administration, fire prevention, public education and communications.   
• If qualified, may serve as a fill-in Assistant Fire Chief. 
• Obeys orders of direct supervisors, cooperates with fellow supervisors, follows the orders of medical direction, maintains a neat appearance, physical fitness, acceptable grooming standards and good conduct. 
 

Basic Qualifications  

REQUIRED: 
• High School Diploma or Equivalent 
• DoD, IFSAC or Pro Board Fire Officer I 
• DoD, IFSAC or Pro Board Fire Inspector I 
• DoD, IFSAC or Pro Board Fire Instructor I 
• DoD, IFSAC or Pro Board Fire Fighter I & II 
• DoD, IFSAC or Pro Board Airport Firefighter 
• DoD, IFSAC or Pro Borad HazMat Awareness & Operations & I.C. 
• Nationally Registered EMT-Basic or higher 
Preferred Qualifications: 
• DoD, IFSAC or ProBoard HAZMAT Technician 
• DoD, IFSAC or ProBoard Driver Operator Pumper 
• DoD, IFSAC or ProBoard Driver Operator ARFF 
• DoD, IFSAC or ProBoard Driver Operator Aerial 
• DoD, IFSAC or ProBoard Driver Operator MWS 

Additional Requirements: 
• Must be fluent in English 
• Must possess passport book (not passport card) with at least 12 months of remaining validity AND with at least 4 blank visa/stamp pages remaining 
• Must possess driver’s license with at least 6 months of remaining validity
